I skied on a double-overhead wave today. Yes I said SKIED. It was unexplainabley awesome. A dream from 12 years of age coming true at 26. Trip report to come. For now, ponder what you think these skis can do in Maui.

SICK! ever since i started surfing iv thought about this and wondered if it was even possible. I imagine you did tow-ins with a jetski? i can only imagine carving a GS turn into a throaty barrel on a pair of SKIS! you got the best of both worlds right there any video?
Well, to answer the how, we're using jet-skis, custom skis, alpine bindings on low din settings and alpine boots. Getting whipped in with jet-skis. That's about all that's to it.
And Tim, yes I too have been thinking about this since I was like 12 years old. I'm glad I'm finally getting the chance to fulfill this dream. Video will be out on December 22nd. Salomon Freeski TV.
And for now, help us pray for some big big waves. I'm talking 25-30 foot range. We need it!
Cody, this is Bryn Carey. I have always wanted to ski down some big waves. I figured the only way I would ever "surf" Jaws was to be on skis where I am more comfortable...glad to see you are doing it! Enjoy.
