Actually it's not really annoying to get the emails, it's more an example of how not to utilize social media. And yes I've promoted products and done gear reviews, but the fact is at this time of year roughly 1/3 of my hits come from people Googling things like "Salomon Czar Review". Yes I sponsored by Salomon but I try to be as helpful and unbiased as I can. All in all

That is exactly it Kara. If it's worth discussing we will discuss it. To me sending out these emails is akin to walking up to a group of people in conversation and yelling into the circle, "HEY, check me out! I'm rad!" Then immediately walking away.
